What cookies and local storage do
Cookies are small values a website can ask your browser to store and send back with later requests. Local storage is a separate browser feature that can retain values on your device. Neither is needed by our page script to open navigation, reveal sections or generate a trip-question note.
The guide’s own code
The static guide’s own script does not set cookies, use localStorage or sessionStorage, or load advertising and analytics libraries. It does not embed third-party maps, videos or social widgets. Images, styles and scripts are referenced locally rather than fetched from external image or font services.
Technical delivery or separately provided privacy controls may operate at the hosting or site-platform level rather than inside the guide’s page script. Where a separate consent control is presented, use it to review the purposes and preferences it describes. Optional storage should not be activated without the required choice.
The trip-question tool is temporary
Your entries and generated preview are held in the open page. The tool does not intentionally save them between visits. A browser may independently remember or restore form fields, depending on its settings. Clear form history or disable restoration in your browser if this matters on a shared device.
The copy button writes to your clipboard only when you request it and your browser allows it. The download button creates a local plain-text file only when requested. A downloaded file and clipboard history are not cookies. Manage or delete those copies using your device’s controls.

Your browser controls
You can inspect or remove site data in your browser’s privacy settings. Blocking cookies does not prevent the core note-generation function. Disabling JavaScript removes the preview, copy and download functions; the written guide remains readable. External reference sites have their own cookie practices once you visit them.
